With the development of several anti-obesity foods, different attempts have been made to verify the antioxidant, insulin-sensitivity, and anti-inflammatory effects of anthocyanins. Increased consumption of dietary fiber has the potential to induce structural, physicochemical and gastrointestinal site-specific benefits that are relevant for the treatment of obesity and metabolic syndrome. The content of oat fermented black glutinous rice (OFBGR) cookies that contain anthocyanin, low calories, and high fiber is expected to be able to reduce obesity.

Objective: This study aimed to know effect of oat fermented black glutinous rice (OFBGR) cookies on obese women body weight.

Method: The study design was true experiment with a control group. There were 20 obese women subjects (>20 years old) each group by purpose sampling method. Subjects were divided into two groups: the experimental group (OFBGR cookies administrated for 30 days) and the control group no OFBGR cookies administration. Body weight were collected pre and post intervention. Data analysis by double difference approach to compare body weight of the two groups.

Results: Administering OFBGR cookies significantly reduced body weight in obese women with a p-value of <0.001 and 0.039 (p≤0.05).

Conclusion: This study concluded that OFBGR cookies reduced body weight in obese women.

Keywords: OFBGR cookies, Obese women, Body weight
Yenny Moviana Roro Nur Fauziyah Mulus Gumilar Copyright (c) 2026 INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON INTERPROFESSIONAL HEALTH COLLABORATION AND COMMUNITY EMPOWERMENT 2026-07-01 2026-07-01 7 2 186 191 10.34011/icihcce.v7i2.383 IMPACT OF PASTEURIZATION ON THE INTEGRITY OF BIOACTIVE COMPONENTS IN DONOR HUMAN MILK: A LITERATURE REVIEW https://conference.juriskes.com/index.php/IC/article/view/384
Background: Human milk is the gold standard for neonatal nutrition, particularly for preterm and very low birth weight (VLBW) infants. When mother’s own milk is unavailable or insufficient, donor human milk provided through human milk banks is the preferred alternative. To ensure microbiological safety, donor human milk undergoes pasteurization; however, thermal processing may compromise bioactive components essential for immune protection and gastrointestinal development.

Objective: This review aimed to evaluate current evidence regarding the effects of pasteurization on the preservation of bioactive components in donor human milk and to assess emerging processing technologies and their clinical implications.

Methods: A structured narrative review was conducted using evidence from randomized controlled trials (RCTs), systematic reviews, scoping reviews, and international clinical guidelines published primarily between 2015 and 2026. Literature was identified through PubMed/MEDLINE, Scopus, Cochrane Library, and ScienceDirect.

Results: Holder Pasteurization (HoP) (62.5°C for 30 minutes) effectively inactivates microbial pathogens but reduces several key immunological components, including secretory immunoglobulin A (17.6–50%), lactoferrin (5.6–80%), and lysozyme (9.8–35%), while nearly eliminating bile salt–stimulated lipase activity. In contrast, human milk oligosaccharides (HMOs), most minerals, and water-soluble vitamins remain relatively stable. Alternative technologies, including High-Pressure Processing (HPP) and High-Temperature Short-Time (HTST) pasteurization, demonstrated improved preservation of bioactive activity.

Conclusion: Despite reducing selected bioactive components, pasteurized donor human milk remains clinically superior to infant formula and contributes to lowering the risk of necrotizing enterocolitis (NEC). Further development of advanced processing technologies and optimized thermal control is needed to maximize bioactive preservation.

Keywords: donor human milk; Holder pasteurization; bioactive components; high-pressure processing
Ida Widiawati Rika Resmana Anita Mega Fajrin Copyright (c) 2026 INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON INTERPROFESSIONAL HEALTH COLLABORATION AND COMMUNITY EMPOWERMENT 2026-06-30 2026-06-30 7 2 192 199 10.34011/icihcce.v7i2.384 IMPLEMENTATION OF ENDORPHIN MASSAGE IN LABOR : A COMPREHENSIVE MIDWIFERY CASE REPORT https://conference.juriskes.com/index.php/IC/article/view/386

Background: Labor pain and maternal anxiety may interfere with the physiological childbirth process and negatively affect maternal comfort and labor progress. Endorphin massage is a non-pharmacological intervention that stimulates endogenous endorphin release, promotes relaxation, and provides continuous support during labor. Integrating this intervention into comprehensive midwifery care may improve maternal outcomes throughout the maternity continuum.

Objectives: This case report aimed to describe the implementation of endorphin massage during labor as part of comprehensive midwifery care for a pregnant woman receiving maternity services at the Cilawu Community Health Center, Garut.

Methods: This study employed a descriptive case report design involving one pregnant woman Mrs. S at 39 weeks and 4 days of gestation. Comprehensive midwifery care was provided from pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum, neonatal care, to family planning between January and March 2024. Data were obtained through interviews, physical examinations, direct observations, and documentation based on the midwifery management approach.

Results: During labor, the patient experienced anxiety and labor pain. Endorphin massage, combined with continuous emotional support, promoted relaxation, reduced maternal anxiety, improved comfort, and contributed to the progression of physiological labor without complications. Coverage of HPV vaccination on target (Daughter aged 11-12) was deficient; it was related to the intention of vaccination..

Objectives: This study aims to identify factors related to HPV vaccination among elementary school daughters. The design study was cross-sectional.

Method: The study design was cross-sectional. The variables were demographics, knowledge, attitudes, and intentions regarding HPV vaccination. The sample is daughters in some elementary schools. G.power calculated the sample size of 172 daughters, and a proportional random sampling technique was used. Statistical analysis used univariate distribution frequency, bivariate analysis with logistic regression..

Results: The study found that 85.5% of the participants had not yet received information about the HPV vaccine, and among the 25 daughters who had received information, 40% were sourced from the teacher. The intention for vaccines was only 48.3%, with 95.1% reasonably wanting to avoid disease, while 51.7% were not intended to receive vaccines. The reasons were that 73% had no understanding, and 47% feared being injected with the vaccine. Others found that the age of group parents, the education level of parents, vaccine information, knowledge, and attitudes were related to the intention factors of daughters to receive HPV vaccination.

Conclusion: This study concluded that daughters' intention to receive HPV vaccination in elementary schools remains low. Identified as associated with HPV vaccination coverage, such as the age group of the parents, the level of economic status (parents' monthly income), the parents' educational attainment, information about HPV vaccination and cancer services, the parents' level of knowledge and attitude toward HPV vaccination

Keywords: Factors, Daughter, intention, HPV, Vaccination
Mamat Mamat Lia Komalasari Rahayu Dwikanthi Copyright (c) 2026 INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON INTERPROFESSIONAL HEALTH COLLABORATION AND COMMUNITY EMPOWERMENT 2026-06-16 2026-06-16 7 2 10.34011/icihcce.v7i2.375 INNOVATION IN MAKING KATUK LEAF BISCUITS AS A BREAST MILK BOOSTER https://conference.juriskes.com/index.php/IC/article/view/352 Background: The exclusive breastfeeding rate in Indonesia remains low (52.5%), far below the national target of 80%. One major cause is the perception of insufficient breast milk production. Katuk leaf (Sauropus androgynus) contains natural galactagogues that stimulate prolactin secretion. Previous research in 2015 showed that katuk leaf biscuits can increase serum prolactin levels in breastfeeding mothers. Objectives: This community empowerment program aimed to improve alumni and MSME partners' skills in producing and developing Katuk Leaf Biscuits as a functional food innovation supporting exclusive breastfeeding. Method: The Entrepreneurship Development Program was implemented in collaboration between midwifery lecturers, alumni, and MSME partners. Activities included training on product formulation, biscuit production, packaging design, and PIRT licensing process. Partners were evaluated for skill improvement and production readiness. Results: Partners successfully produced standardized Katuk Leaf Biscuits, developed appropriate packaging, and obtained PIRT permits. Knowledge and practical skills of partners improved, and the innovation encouraged sustainable entrepreneurship based on local food potential. The product was promoted as a healthy, practical, and culturally acceptable galactagogue food. Conclusion: Katuk Leaf Biscuits serve as a sustainable innovation that supports exclusive breastfeeding, empowers mothers, and strengthens MSME-based entrepreneurship. Community empowerment through health-based product innovation can simultaneously improve public health and economic resilience.
