RELATION BEETWEEN CADRE SUPPORT WITH PARTICIPATION OF IVA TEST

Abstract
Abstract Background : Cervical cancer is an important health problem for women throughout the world. Case of Cervical cancer is second rank in all of cancers of women in Indonesia. The thing that fundamental the high mortality due to cervical cancer in developing countries is that patients are often diagnosed in an advanced stage. One of the screening tests for cervical cancer is the Visual Inspection of Acetate Acid (VIA)test. The participation of VIA tests is still low. Factors that influence it include social factors, such as support from cadres.The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between cadre support and participation in the VIA Test Methods : The design of this study was Cross-sectional in 60 respondents, namely women of childbearing age at Ibrahim Adji Health Center Bandung work area. The technique of taking data using consecutive sampling. The analysis used Chi Square test. Results : The results of the study showed that most groups of women who did not receive support for early detection of cervical cancer as much as 62.5% of respondent did not make early detection of cervical cancer.The bivariate analysis showed that there was no relationship between cadre support for early detection of cervical cancer with women of childbearing age behavior in early detection of cervical cancer (0.704). Conclusion : The results of the study showed that most groups of women who did not receive support for early detection of cervical cancer. Other factors can influence the results of this study. Further research is expected on cadre support
